I was in Toyohashi-city last week to see the biggest festival in the city.
The highlight of that festa is a traditional Japanese dance at the center of the city. 20,000 people are supposed to join the dance although I can’t confirm the actual number.
But this wasn’t my purpose to visit the festa.
Why I was there was to check a smaller dance team for which I made a song.
The dance is a mixture of a kind of Japanese traditional and contemporary.
The song is also mixture of them. To be precise, the song includes the style of Ryu-kyu (old name of Okinawa pref., located at south part of Japan.)
The dancers are all moms and their kids! Fun to see them dancing well.
